Residential Burglary Prevention and Security

NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH :
Encourages citizen to learn how to secure their homes and personal property and to report any suspicious activity to the police.

OPERATION IDENTIFICATION:
Involves marking property with an electric engraver.  The owner's drivers license number is used an a warning sticker is displayed to alert thieves that all valuables are marked for identification purposes.

HOME SECURITY SURVEYS:
Offers the home owner the opportunity to have doors, windows, locks, lighting and other areas of the home inspected by a police officer. Written security recommendations are then given to the home owner.

VACATION HOUSE CHECKS:
Provides residents the opportunity of having their homes checked by patrol officers while they are away.
