K9 Units

Narcotics Detection: Both K-9 Paco and K-9 Bach are trained in several of the major narcotics currently in use. Both K-9 Paco and K-9 Bach have found narcotics for their handlers on several occasions, which might have otherwise been missed.

Occasionally the K-9 units conduct school searches in the surrounding schools. Some of the schools in the area that have been searched were: Alton High School, East Middle School, and the Motivational Achievement School.

PFC Espinoza and K-9 Bach train with the East/West Team based out of Sauget and they have also conducted school searches in the surrounding cities/towns (Columbia, Fairview Heights, Bethalto, Jerseyville, etc).
